- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was never told that the APRN was doing my two week daughters tongue tie clipping! The appointment was made with the MD yet no MD in office. My daughter is now 6 weeks old, I've seen 7 lactaction consultants and breast feeding specialists. I've seen 2 chiropractors as well. I was told yesterday that not ONLY is her tongue tie not fully clipped, but she has two more areas of concern (two lip ties). So now not only have I not been successfully breastfeeding for the first 6 weeks of her life, which has been so hard for me between mastitis, nipple blisters and cracking, and a baby who was losing significant weight- BUT now she needs to see another tongue tie specialist (you can bet I am NOT returning here) for revision and new clipping. Which is traumazing to say the least. Oh and did I mention that they never even made a FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT to ensure that it did not reattach and heal correctly? This place does NOT provide professional care and does NOT do good work. Very upset that my daughter went through it for no good reason and this whole time I have been ruling out tongue tie as the breast feeding issue due to the fact that I thought it was taken care of!!!!!!
